The de Lisle Carbine is an integrally silenced Lee-Enfield SMLE MkIII bolt action rifle. The barrel is from an American Thompson submachine gun. William Godfray de Lisle created an integrally suppressed carbine that fired the .45 ACP cartridge from a modified M1911 pistol magazine. Fewer than 200 were made during WW2. There is one other issue though. Certain firearm parts cannot be exported from the USA without a Federal Export Licence. For stocks, they cannot be exported without a (costly) licence, unless they are under $100 USD. Boyds won’t export unless under $100. Boyds sell the Lee-Enfield stock and forend as separate items.
